The Decompression Procedures course is a technical diving certification focused on the planning and execution of dives that require staged decompression stops. This course is essential for divers who want to explore deeper sites or extend their bottom time beyond the no-decompression limits of recreational diving. It teaches the principles and techniques for managing decompression obligations safely.

Participants will learn how to use decompression software and tables to plan multi-gas decompression profiles. The course covers the selection and use of various decompression gases, such as Nitrox and oxygen, to accelerate off-gassing and minimize decompression time. You will also learn about contingency planning, equipment redundancy, and managing potential problems during decompression.
