Night Diver

The PADI Night Diver specialty course with Koh Chang Divers unlocks a different realm of the underwater world, showcasing the nocturnal activities of marine life. Diving after sunset transforms familiar dive sites into mysterious environments where daytime creatures rest and nocturnal organisms emerge. This specialty is designed to provide divers with the skills and knowledge to safely explore the underwater environment at night.

This course includes three night dives, building upon the 2-4 hours of independent eLearning. Koh Chang Divers enhances the experience by including six additional dives, a dive computer for your use, and convenient taxi transport to and from accommodations on the west side of Koh Chang. Lunches, snacks, and refreshments are also provided during the course days. Please note that Marine Park fees and any special transport requirements might incur additional costs. The prerequisite for this course is a minimum age of 12 years and a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver certification or equivalent.

During the PADI Night Diver course, you will learn about the specialized equipment essential for night diving, such as primary dive lights and backup lights, as well as signaling devices for visibility. You will cover techniques for underwater navigation in low-visibility conditions, how to identify nocturnal marine life, and strategies for managing potential challenges that may arise. The curriculum places a strong emphasis on safety protocols specifically tailored for night diving, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for all participants.
