Open Water Diver

The PADI Open Water Diver (e-learning) course at Dive Point Samui is your gateway to the underwater world, offering the most recognized entry-level scuba certification globally. By choosing the e-learning option, you can complete the theoretical portion of your training at your own pace, from any location, before arriving at the dive center. This flexible approach allows you to maximize your time in the water during your stay on Koh Samui.

This blended learning format combines engaging online study with hands-on practical sessions. You will interact with PADI's comprehensive digital materials, covering crucial topics such as dive physics, physiology, equipment, and safety procedures. Once your online knowledge development is complete, you will transition to the in-water training. This includes confined water dives to master fundamental skills and open water dives to apply them in a real dive environment under the guidance of experienced instructors.

Dive Point Samui conducts the practical components of the Open Water Diver course over three days, utilizing boat dives to access prime dive sites around Koh Samui. This ensures you gain extensive experience in the beautiful local waters. The instructors are dedicated to building your confidence and ensuring you achieve proficiency in all required skills before earning your certification.
