Instructor Development Course

The PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) at Palau Infinity Dive is the essential pathway for certified PADI Divemasters or equivalent to achieve the globally recognized PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) rating. This intensive 10-day program is meticulously crafted for passionate divers eager to transition their love for the underwater world into a rewarding profession. To begin the IDC, you must be at least 18 years old and possess a minimum of 60 logged dives. A prerequisite of 100 logged dives is required before you can attend the PADI Instructor Examination (IE), which takes place over two additional days following the IDC. Participants will gain the skills to teach PADI core courses, including Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster, through comprehensive training in classroom presentations, confined-water teaching, and open-water demonstrations.

A medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months is mandatory for participation.
