Deep Diver

Delta Buceo offers the PADI Deep Diver specialty course, enabling you to safely explore depths down to 40 meters. This course is designed for certified divers looking to extend their recreational limits and discover deeper underwater environments. You will gain the essential knowledge and skills to plan and execute deep dives, understanding the physiological effects of increased pressure and how to manage them. The training includes theoretical modules and four open water dives conducted in the renowned waters of La Herradura.

The practical sessions take place in La Herradura, an area known for its varied depths that reach over 50 meters in locations like Punta de la Mona, providing an ideal training ground for deep diving techniques. The sea temperature in this region offers comfortable diving conditions, with averages around 18.6°C, though specific monthly variations exist, such as warmer waters in July and August reaching up to 28.6°C air temperature, suggesting pleasant sea conditions during summer months. This environment allows for focused skill development under expert supervision.

To enroll in the PADI Deep Diver specialty at Delta Buceo, you must hold a PADI Adventure Diver certification or an equivalent rating and be at least 16 years old. Valid dive insurance is also a mandatory requirement. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded the PADI Deep Diver certification, opening up new possibilities for your underwater adventures and enhancing your confidence and safety when diving to greater depths.
