Open Water Diver

The PADI Open Water Diver certification is your essential first step into the global underwater community, and Open Water Spain in Almuñécar offers this foundational course. This program is meticulously designed for individuals with no prior diving experience, meaning you don't need to be an Olympic swimmer to begin your journey. The curriculum is structured over three intensive days of practical training, complemented by online theory modules that allow for flexible, self-paced learning. You will gain proficiency in using essential scuba equipment, learn the principles of dive planning, and master the skills needed to execute dives safely and confidently. The certification process includes completing five online theory sections, practicing skills in confined water, and undertaking four open water dives in the clear waters near Almuñécar or La Herradura. Upon successful completion, you will be qualified to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters anywhere in the world alongside a buddy.
