BUCEADOR 2 ESTRELLAS FEDAS-CMAS (B2E)/OWD ADVANCE

The B2E takes you to 40 metres inside the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Marine Reserve, where the terrain changes noticeably — rocky walls, deeper posidonia patches and different fish populations compared to the shallower entry-level dives. Sea&Sun runs this course with the same all-sea-dives approach: no pool sessions, all practicals in the reserve.

To access the B2E you need a valid B1E or OWD certification plus Basic Life Support (SVB) and CPR qualifications. Minimum age is 15. The CMAS 2 Star Diver equivalency means the certification is accepted worldwide under the CMAS umbrella.

The 320€ price includes equipment for the practical dives. As with the entry-level course, theory can be prepared remotely before travelling to La Isleta del Moro. The centre's team — Pepi, Ine and Sandra — have been running dives in this park for years and know the sites at this depth range well.

After the B2E, the logical progression is the B3E, the maximum recreational level in the FEDAS-CMAS system, which requires also holding the SVB certification and a minimum age of 16.
