The curriculum mandates two core dives: Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation. The Deep Dive focuses on the principles and procedures for planning and executing dives to a maximum depth of 30 meters (100 feet), a significant increase from the Open Water certification. The Underwater Navigation dive hones your skills in using a compass and compass techniques to navigate underwater, ensuring you can confidently find your way back to your starting point.
