DIVE GUIDE

The Divemaster internship at Ocean Dreams is structured in two phases. The first runs 10 days: everything a working divemaster needs to conduct dives and assist with courses. The second phase has no fixed end date — it builds practical experience in client communication, base and equipment maintenance, and compressor operation. Students average one month total.

Ocean Dreams describes themselves as the only centre in Tenerife offering Divemaster internships with accommodation in their own diving hostel. The hostel is directly above the diving base, with shared rooms for up to 6 people, shared facilities, and a terrace with views of the beach and harbour.

Teaching rights at this level include course assistance and participation in Open Water Diver and ecology programmes. You're not leading courses independently, but you're involved in running them — useful preparation for the Assistant Instructor step.

Entry requires Advanced Open Water Diver, Diver Stress & Rescue, and 60 logged dives. Minimum age is 18. The €800 price covers the full internship; accommodation is separate and available through the hostel above the base.
