The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course at Oceania Buceo is your next step to expanding your underwater horizons, building directly on your Open Water Diver skills. You will learn to plan and execute dives to depths of up to 40 meters (130 feet), opening up a wider range of dive sites and experiences globally. The certification you will earn is a globally recognized PADI Advanced Open Water Diver credential.

Oceania Buceo structures this advanced training with a practical approach. The course typically includes one theory session, often scheduled for an evening, where you'll cover essential principles and procedures for advanced diving scenarios. This theoretical foundation is crucial for understanding the risks and techniques involved in deeper dives and specialized activities. Following the theory, you will participate in five exciting open water dives, usually conducted over a weekend. These dives are your opportunity to practice and master new skills under the direct supervision of your instructor.

During these five dives, you will gain hands-on experience in areas such as deep diving, underwater navigation, and potentially others like wreck diving or underwater photography, depending on your interests and the local conditions.
