Deep Diver

The PADI Deep Diver Specialty course at YBD Dive Centre is designed for certified divers eager to extend their exploration beyond the standard recreational limits. This specialty certification allows you to safely venture to depths of up to 40 meters (130 feet), opening up a new realm of underwater possibilities. The program includes four supervised deep dives, meticulously planned and executed under the guidance of experienced PADI instructors. You will gain the essential knowledge and skills to manage the physiological and equipment challenges associated with deeper dives.

During this specialty, you will learn about the specific considerations for deep diving, including gas management, nitrogen narcosis, and decompression sickness prevention. Understanding and respecting your personal limits is a core component, ensuring you approach each dive with confidence and a thorough risk assessment. The course emphasizes proper deep diving techniques, including buddy procedures and buoyancy control at greater depths, preparing you for diverse underwater environments.

To enroll in the PADI Deep Diver Specialty at YBD Dive Centre, you must be at least 15 years old and hold a PADI Adventure Diver certification or have completed at least three Adventure Dives. The first dive of this course can also count towards your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification, providing a clear pathway for continued diver education.
