Advanced Open Water

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course at Buceo Pichicuy picks up directly where Open Water ends — no waiting period required. The course is built around Adventure Dives that let you sample different specialties under instructor supervision, which means you're not just logging dives, you're building toward specific certifications at the same time.

Depth extends to 30 meters in this course, a meaningful step up from the Open Water limit. Around Caleta de Pichicuy and its surrounding dive sites, that extra range opens up different terrain and marine life than what you encounter shallower.

Three pricing tiers are available. The Clásico (CLP $270,000) uses a physical manual. The Advanced Preparado (CLP $320,000) adds eLearning lite and bundles a Rescue Diver Adventure Dive plus a DAN SVB certification. The Full Experience (CLP $450,000) includes full eLearning plus the complete PADI Deep Diver specialty and a PADI gift — saving CLP $130,000 compared to buying the components separately.

Each Adventure Dive completed here can count as credit toward the first dive of its corresponding PADI Specialty course. If you've already done specialty coursework elsewhere, ask the instructor whether you qualify for Adventure Dive credit.
