Corso Divemaster

The Divemaster course at Argentario Divers runs over eight days and represents the first professional-level certification under PADI or SSI. Working alongside the centre's instructors, candidates refine both dive skills and rescue ability, learning to anticipate and manage problems before they escalate.

Argentario Divers is an active, multi-boat operation year-round, which means Divemaster candidates train in a real working environment: guiding certified divers on full-day trips to Giannutri and Giglio, assisting on courses at various levels, and handling the day-to-day logistics of a busy dive centre. That exposure is different from completing a Divemaster at a seasonal resort operation.

The centre's technical background — UTD, rebreather, and technical gas — means the Divemaster candidate sees a wider range of diving operations than at a purely recreational centre. Even if the candidate's own focus is recreational, familiarity with technical configurations and gas blending operations is part of the working context here.

At €1,200 the course covers eight full days. As with other courses, the centre offers both collective and personalised formats — the latter dedicated entirely to a single student following an agreed programme.
