Advanced Open Water

East Coast Divers offers the Advanced Open Water Course, a crucial step for certified divers seeking to expand their underwater capabilities. This program builds directly upon your Open Water Diver skills, introducing you to five distinct specialty dives. Two are mandatory: Deep Diving, which prepares you for dives up to 30 meters (100 feet) and covers essential safety protocols for greater depths, and Underwater Navigation, refining your compass and natural navigation techniques for more complex sites. The remaining three dives are electives, chosen in consultation with your instructor to match your interests and local diving opportunities.

This course is structured for practical application, with each specialty dive conducted under the direct supervision of an experienced East Coast Divers instructor. The emphasis is on gaining hands-on experience and confidence in various diving disciplines.
