Aire Enriquecido NITROX

The PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) course at AlisioSub runs in a single day and covers diving with oxygen-enriched air up to 36%. The theory component goes through the advantages — extended bottom time, reduced surface intervals, and lower nitrogen loading — alongside the safety procedures specific to handling higher-oxygen mixtures, including equipment analysis and planning dives within Nitrox limits.

The practical component includes two open water dives at sites around Puerto del Carmen, allowing students to apply the planning and analysis process with actual Nitrox fills. Given the depth range across the local dive sites — from the 12m shallows of El Muellito to the 40m-plus walls at Veril de Fariones — being Nitrox-certified meaningfully extends options on the more ambitious dives.

The package includes all study materials, equipment specific to the course, the two open water dives, instructor time, and PADI certification processing. Minimum age is 16 and an existing Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent) is required.
