Bautizo Buceo

The Discover Scuba experience at AlisioSub runs three hours total, with 45 minutes of actual time underwater. The session begins with a briefing at the center where a professional instructor goes through the instructions needed to make the dive safely. Once kitted up, the group transfers to the dive site.

Depth is kept between 5 and 8 meters — shallow enough to maintain natural light and visibility while still giving a real sense of the underwater environment. El Muellito and Playa Chica are sites the center uses for introductory dives; the maximum depth there is 12m and the guide specifically notes the site as ideal for first contacts with the equipment.

The instructor is alongside throughout the entire dive, managing buoyancy and equipment for the participant. After surfacing, the group returns to the center, talks through the experience, and participants receive a commemorative diploma.

Minimum age is 10 years. No previous diving experience is required — the only prerequisite is being able to swim.
