Benthica Diving offers the SSI Open Water Diver course, your essential certification for exploring the underwater world independently up to 18 meters. This globally recognized qualification is the most popular starting point for scuba diving, equipping you with the skills to plan and execute dives safely. The course utilizes the SSI digital learning system, allowing you to complete theoretical studies at your own pace before your arrival in Sardinia. You will engage in theoretical sessions covering dive planning, equipment, marine environments, and safety protocols. Practical training includes confined water sessions to master fundamental skills like mask clearing, regulator recovery, and buoyancy control. The program culminates in four open water dives, where you'll apply your new abilities in real diving conditions within the local Sardinian waters. Upon successful completion, you will receive your SSI Open Water Diver certification, valid for life and recognized worldwide. This allows you to dive with a buddy or a dive professional globally.
