Divemaster

The first professional level in the PADI system. At Kappi-Divers, Divemaster candidates train alongside experienced PADI instructors — several of the current team completed their own DM training at the school before moving on to instructor level. Duration is by arrangement.

The €649 course fee covers training; the e-learning and PADI membership/card cost an additional €399, and PADI application fees add €200 on top. Minimum age is 18 years.

With three Course Directors and multiple experienced instructors on the team, DM candidates have access to a varied range of teaching styles and can assist across different course types during their training. The school's active schedule — specialty courses, kids programmes, open water sessions — means there are regular opportunities for supervised practical experience.

The Divemaster is also the prerequisite for the Assistant Instructor and IDC programmes, both of which are offered here, so the progression path is entirely in-house.
