PADI Enriched Air Nitrox

The Enriched Air Nitrox specialty at Dive Academy is primarily a theory-and-planning course — no additional dives required beyond what you're already doing. It covers how nitrox mixes work, how to analyse a tank, how to plan dives using the extended no-decompression limits that nitrox provides, and the oxygen toxicity risks that come with using higher oxygen percentages at depth.

For divers doing multiple dives in a day at sites like La Llosa or Arrecifes Artificiales, nitrox is a practical tool that extends bottom time and reduces residual nitrogen between dives. Dive Academy offers nitrox fills on site.

At 130 € it's one of the more accessible specialties in the catalogue. The course can be completed quickly alongside a regular dive day, making it a common add-on for divers already booked on a Tabarca trip who want to get more out of their time underwater.
