SSI Advanced Open Water Diver

Elevate your diving capabilities with the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver course at Eco Island Adventure. This program is designed for certified Open Water Divers seeking to expand their underwater horizons and gain more experience. You will explore new diving techniques and gain confidence in various conditions, preparing you for more challenging dives. The certification allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters, significantly broadening the scope of your diving adventures.

This course includes SSI digital theory materials and focuses on practical application through four specialty dives. These dives often include deep diving, navigation, and buoyancy control, with the possibility of night diving depending on conditions and student interest. The entire program is typically completed over 2-3 days, ensuring a focused and immersive learning experience. Full diving equipment is provided, along with insurance during the training period, allowing you to concentrate on skill development.

The waters around the center offer a consistent sea temperature of approximately 19.4°C, providing a comfortable environment for diving throughout much of the year. While specific monthly air temperatures vary from 12.5°C in December to 26.4°C in August, the sea temperature remains relatively stable, ideal for extending your dive season. The course duration of 2-3 days is well-suited to exploring the local dive sites effectively.
