Plongeur encadré à 12 mètres (PE12)

The PE20 – Niveau 1 is the foundational FFESSM/ANMP certification at Le Brusc Plongée, structured over 5 dives on the Embiez Archipelago sites. On completing it, you can dive to 20 m within a group led by a Guide de Palanquée who manages the dive. Minimum age at certification is 12, with parental consent required for minors.

The dives take place on multi-level Embiez sites — most likely a mix of the shallower Magnons spots and the mid-range sites like Les Basses de la Moulinière or La Classique, where Mediterranean fauna is genuinely representative: groupers, moray eels, red gorgonians, barracuda, lobsters in the crevices. A CACI medical certificate (less than one year old) is required before starting any FFESSM formation.

The center's family-scale structure and state-certified instructor team means groups are small and the teaching environment is relaxed. Five dives is enough to get your bearings on the Embiez sites and leave knowing what to expect when you come back with a more advanced certification.
