Discover Scuba Diving

Aquatech Diving Centre offers the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, an ideal introduction for those curious about breathing underwater without immediate commitment to a full certification. This session is conducted in the controlled environment of a swimming pool, ensuring a safe and comfortable first encounter with scuba equipment. Participants will learn essential skills under the guidance of experienced PADI professionals, making it a perfect stepping stone towards further diving education.

During the session, you will be fitted with all necessary scuba gear, including a wetsuit, and receive a thorough briefing on how to use it. The focus is on mastering the basics of breathing underwater and becoming familiar with the equipment. This introductory dive is designed to build confidence and provide a genuine taste of the underwater world. All you need to bring is a swimsuit and a towel.

Upon successful completion of the pool session, you will receive a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience certificate. This document serves as recognition of your initial underwater adventure and can be credited towards your PADI Open Water Diver course should you decide to continue your scuba journey. These sessions are scheduled for Monday evenings and require advance booking to secure your spot.

The all-inclusive price of £25 covers eLearning access, all required scuba equipment, pool entry fees, expert instructor tuition, and the PADI certification card. To ensure your readiness, please complete the PADI Medical Questionnaire prior to the session. If any part of the questionnaire requires a 'Yes' answer, medical approval from a physician is mandatory before participation. Aquatech Diving Centre recommends North West Diving Medical Services for any necessary medical assessments.
