Open Water Diver

The PADI Open Water Diver certification is your passport to exploring the underwater world, and Aquatech Diving Centre offers this foundational course over two weekends. This comprehensive program is structured into three key elements: self-study and theory, extensive pool training, and open water dives. Aquatech Diving Centre provides this globally recognized certification, allowing you to dive anywhere in the world.

For the theory component, students can opt for PADI eLearning, enabling self-paced study. This is followed by a substantial 8 hours of pool training with a PADI Instructor. This extended pool session ensures participants are exceptionally well-prepared, safe, and confident before progressing to open water. The course culminates in four open water dives, which can be completed with Aquatech or, through their referral system, with another PADI centre abroad, offering flexibility for future travel plans.

Aquatech Diving Centre accommodates divers at all stages of their training. They offer completion upgrades for partially completed PADI courses, including referrals from other PADI schools, and can facilitate the Master Scuba Diver qualification. For those who have completed PADI eLearning online, Aquatech can conduct the confined water and open water dive aspects of the course, ensuring a seamless transition to practical application.

To begin your PADI Open Water Diver journey with Aquatech Diving Centre, you must be aged 10 or over, with no prior diving experience necessary. Participants are required to review the PADI Medical Statement and obtain a doctor's signature if needed. The course fee of £445 includes all necessary scuba equipment, air fills, and access to PADI eLearning materials, including interactive lessons, knowledge reviews, quizzes, and the final exam, ensuring you have everything required for success.
