The 'Baptême de Plongée' is offered free of charge by Cyprea Plongée, reflecting their commitment to sharing their passion for diving without obligation. This introductory dive allows participants to safely explore the underwater environment, typically to a maximum depth of 6 meters, adhering to PADI and FFESSM introductory dive standards. The focus is on the experience itself, allowing newcomers to appreciate the tranquility and unique sensations of being submerged.

To ensure a well-organized and personalized experience, it is essential to contact Cyprea Plongée several weeks in advance. This allows the club to confirm participant numbers, arrange the appropriate instructor-to-student ratio, and finalize a suitable date. While the club aims to accommodate requests, these introductory dives are typically scheduled for Monday evenings in late June after training courses conclude, and on Monday or Wednesday evenings throughout July, subject to pool availability.

Participants are asked to bring essential personal items such as a swimsuit, towel, and swim cap. While masks and fins can enhance comfort, they are not mandatory for this initial discovery dive. Cyprea Plongée, certified by both PADI and FFESSM, provides all necessary scuba equipment.
