Open Water Diver

The SSI Open Water at Rebel Diving Curaçao is the entry point into the center's Blue Oceans program. SSI Blue Oceans integrates ocean conservation awareness into the learning pathway, meaning the course isn't just about acquiring the technical skills for independent diving — it's taught within a framework that connects what you're learning to the health and preservation of the ocean environment. The certification covers all the foundational skills: equipment handling, buoyancy control, underwater communication, and safe ascent procedures.
