The Black Anchor Scuba Diving & Snorkeling, located in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, is an SSI-certified dive and snorkel center. Founded by Mariana Uriel, a pioneer in building dive centers from the ground up in Puerto Rico, the center was born from a deep passion for the ocean and a vision to lead others into it.
The center offers a comprehensive range of courses, including Enriched Air Nitrox, Instructor Development Course, Snorkeling, and Boat Diving. They also organize night dives, with special promotions for two-tank dive packages. Their facilities include lockers, equipment rental, a dive shop, and air fills (including nitrox).
With options for all levels, from a first-time scuba experience (Discovery Scuba/Try Basic Diver) to professional SSI certification courses, The Black Anchor is committed to providing a safe and professional experience. Sí. Te pediremos demostrar 200 m de nado continuo (estilo libre) y 10 minutos flotando sin apoyo. No exigimos cronómetro, solo soltura en agua.
Si el centro cancela por condiciones del mar, te reasignamos sin coste extra a la siguiente fecha disponible. La decisión la toma el instructor jefe a las 7:00 del día de la salida.
Con lentillas blandas, sin problema. Si llevas gafas, ofrecemos máscaras graduadas estándar (-1 a -8 dioptrías) por 15 € de alquiler/día.
Sí, somos PADI Kids Centre. Desde los 8 años con el Bubblemaker (en piscina, hasta 2 m) y desde los 10 con el Open Water Junior.
No, tu carnet PADI/SSI es vitalicio. Sí recomendamos un curso de repaso ("Scuba Tune-Up") si llevas más de 12 meses sin bucear.
