Pico Island Adventures

Pico Island Adventures, located in Lajes do Pico, Portugal, is a dive center boasting 33 years of experience, specializing in diving and whale watching. Certified by SSI and TDI, it offers Snorkeling and Boat Diving courses, alongside guided dives. Facilities include lockers, a bar, accommodation, equipment rental, a dive shop, air fills (nitrox), and boat diving, including swift access to Princess Alice Bank via its catamaran.

The center is recognized for its successful whale and dolphin watching tours, with a 98% sighting success rate, guided by marine biologists. It also provides unique shark encounters, featuring full-day trips to Princess Alice Bank and Baixa do Rosais, with opportunities to see Blue, Mako, and Hammerhead sharks. During spring, specialized tours are organized for witnessing the migration of giant whales, such as Blue, Fin, and Sei whales.

Pico Island Adventures is also known for its collaborations with film crews, production companies, and scientists, fostering connections with high-ranking international photographers and TV teams. Beyond water activities, the center offers its own accommodation, car and scooter rentals, and an experienced team of skippers and dive guides.
