Frequently asked
What people ask before booking
Not at all, especially the Discover Scuba Diving. Instructors manage your equipment and control your buoyancy at all times. You just need to breathe calmly and enjoy.
First, an explanatory video of the activity is shown. Then, instructors conduct a briefing explaining the details of the diving equipment, basic diving rules, underwater communication, and we perform some small exercises together. Finally, we go into the water to enjoy the experience.
Don't worry, this activity is designed for anyone who meets the minimum conditions (no serious health problems). It requires no prior skills or diving knowledge.
For dives in Menorca, you will need a wetsuit, fins, mask, tank, weights, regulator, and buoyancy compensator. All this equipment is provided by BlueDiveExperience. Our equipment has Scubapro certification, guaranteeing the highest quality and safety. If you have your own equipment, you can use it. We can rent you the tank and weights, or any extra material you need. The final price will be adjusted according to the equipment you need to rent.
The best time to dive in Menorca is during the months of May to October, when water temperatures are warmer and visibility conditions are optimal. During these months, the water temperature ranges between 20 and 26 degrees Celsius, making the diving experience more pleasant. Additionally, marine life is more active and abundant during this period.
If you have never dived, it's normal to feel insecure and nervous. However, it is an activity that anyone can do, thanks to the help of certified and experienced instructors. The diving equipment is also very safe. The only requirement is not to have serious health problems and to always follow your instructor's instructions. We recommend the Discover Scuba Diving if you feel very unsure, as it includes a basic skills session in confined water (no more than 2 meters deep) to build confidence.
Menorca offers dives for all experience levels, from beginners to advanced divers. If you have never dived before, you can start with a Discover Scuba Diving, where you will receive basic training and be accompanied by an instructor at all times. For certified divers, there is a wide variety of dives available, from shallow water dives to more challenging explorations in caves and tunnels. No matter your experience level, we have varied dives for everyone.
