Frequently asked
What people ask before booking
Yes. Both dives require a valid diving certificate, a medical exam, and a log of completed dives. A check dive in coastal waters is also mandatory before either activity — it lets the dive guides assess your experience and comfort level before heading offshore.
It's a normal coastal dive done before the shark dive or Princess Alice Bank trip. It takes place in shallower, calmer water and is used to determine diver experience and comfort. It's required for both offshore dive activities and happens on the same day or prior to the main dive.
Yes. Full equipment hire is available at 20€ per day. For the shark dive and Princess Alice Bank dives, tanks and weight belts are included in the activity price; the 20€ fee covers the rest of the gear if needed.
Both activities run from July to September. They can only be confirmed one to two days before the departure date, as they depend on weather conditions and a minimum number of participants.
Yes. Snorkeling options exist for both activities. Snorkeling at Princess Alice Bank costs 200€ by zodiac or 250€ by catamaran, all equipment included. Snorkeling with sharks costs 180€ per person, also with equipment included.
Yes. Children from 5 to 12 years are welcome at 50€ per person. The 12-meter catamaran Physeter is specifically described as suitable for families with children, with an enclosed cabin, kitchen, and toilet on board.
The catamaran Physeter is described as suitable for older people and people with disabilities. For whale watching, the activity is open regardless of age or physical status; prior notice is requested if special assistance is needed.
Zodiacs are faster and more dynamic — described as splashy and bouncy — used for half-day trips at 8:30 or 14:30. The catamaran runs full-day trips from 9:00 to 16:00, has toilet facilities and a covered cabin, and allows more time near the animals. Full-day trips cost 165€ per person; half-day adults start at 80€.
