Kalpitiya Diving Center

The Kalpitiya Diving Center, located in Kalpitiya, Sri Lanka, is a distinguished establishment with a deep-rooted family tradition in diving, tracing back to the 1970s. Managed by the fourth generation of divers, including Samith Thilina Fernando, a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer with nearly 20,000 dives, the center is distinguished by its expertise and commitment to marine conservation.

Certified by PADI and SSI, they offer a comprehensive range of courses, from Discover Scuba Diving to the Instructor Development Course, as well as specialties such as underwater photography and night diving. Their facilities include accommodation, equipment rental, a dive shop, and air fills with nitrox. They also organize boat and shore diving, guided dives, and airport transfer services.

The center places a strong emphasis on safety, adhering to PADI standards, and operates with small groups to ensure a personalized experience. Their professional team comprises highly certified diving professionals and they are fluent in multiple languages, including Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, and Catalan, facilitating communication with international clients.
