Orbit Marine, founded in 1973 by Captain Noel Voroba, stands as the largest and oldest dive shop in Fairfield County, CYM. With over 50 years of experience, Orbit Marine remains at the forefront of diving technology, offering a comprehensive selection of equipment for evaluation, stocking, and maintenance to cater to all diver needs. Orbit Marine provides SSI certification courses, including Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Nitrox, Divemaster, and the Instructor Development Course, alongside specialized programs such as Wreck Diver.

Its facilities boast ample parking, equipment rental services, a dedicated dive shop, and both air and Nitrox fills. Orbit Marine also organizes local dive trips throughout the summer to various locations within the Long Island Sound, as well as international excursions. Their expertise in training, equipping, and maintaining dive gear is unparalleled in the region.

Beyond its diving operations, Orbit Marine also offers a full array of fishing bait and tackle for both fresh and saltwater enthusiasts, and features underwater and land-based metal detectors. The shop operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11 AM to 4 PM, and Saturdays from 9 AM to 5 PM, with appointments welcome outside of regular hours. Orbit Marine prides itself on having trained more new divers, equipped and maintained their gear, and led more dive trips than any other dive shop in Fairfield County.
