Thulusdhoo is conveniently located just a 30-minute speedboat transfer from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé.
The waters are rich with sea turtles, various reef sharks (white-tip, black-tip, grey reef, nurse sharks), schools of tropical reef fish, and seasonal manta rays, leopard sharks, and mobula rays.
Dive packages typically include tank and weights. Dive gear rental (BCD, regulator, dive computer, wetsuit) is charged separately per trip, though fins, mask, tanks, SMB, reef hook, and weights are provided at no extra charge. Specific course packages include e-learning, dive gear, boat fees, instructor fees, and transportation.
They accept payments in MVR, USD, and EUR, via cash or credit/debit cards. Card payments incur additional bank fees ranging from 3.5% to 7% for POS transactions or 5% for online payments, plus an 8% GST on card fees.
For the Discover Scuba Diving program and the Open Water Diver course, the minimum age is 10 years old. For the PADI EFR course, the minimum age is 12 years old.
Underwater visibility is generally excellent, up to 30 meters from December to April, and 15–20 meters from May to November.
