What people ask before booking
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure bookings, with the balance due one month prior. Cancellations made with less than 14 days' notice are non-refundable, but credits for future bookings may be offered for cancellations made with more than 14 days' notice, minus permit fees. Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly advised.
Boats depart from Semporna to Mabul at 8 am and 2:30 pm. From Mabul to Semporna, departures are at 10 am and 4 pm. Transfers are complimentary for guests diving or snorkeling with Scuba Junkie.
To dive Sipadan, guests must be certified as 'Advanced' divers. Proof of certification is required, and Sabah Parks may refuse entry if certification cannot be proven. Snorkeling is an alternative if certification is not met.
Only Reef Safe suncream is permitted for use to protect the marine environment. Guests are asked to ensure any suncreams they bring or purchase are reef-safe.
All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks) are included, served buffet-style. Water, tea, and coffee are available all day. The resort caters to vegetarians and vegans, and severe allergies should be communicated in advance.
