Visibility is best from October to March, with calm sea conditions. Water temperature is consistently warm.
Pemba's waters are rich with schooling barracuda, giant trevallies, napoleon wrasse, groupers, turtles, manta rays, eagle rays, and thousands of reef fish. The coral formations are also exceptional.
Fundu Lagoon offers Discover Scuba Diving, Scuba Diver (up to 12m), Open Water Diver (up to 18m), and Advanced Open Water Diver (up to 30m), as well as Dive Master.
The dive center provides 3mm full-length wetsuits and uses Scuba-Pro and Aqualung equipment. Rental is available.
