Any activity not done responsibly can be dangerous! Diving, with proper training, is one of the safest and most enjoyable hobbies.
First and foremost, the interested individual must want to dive. – It’s for men and women aged 8 and above. – No specific physical condition is required.
In reality, even people with disabilities can dive safely (problems that prevent diving are minimal, but it’s something only your doctor can judge). When you enroll in the school, you’ll be given a questionnaire, and if there’s a positive answer, a doctor’s certificate confirming your ability in the specific activity will be required.
Some swimming ability is required. You need to have basic swim skills and be able to comfortably maintain yourself in the water. Float and tread water for 10 minutes, again using any methods you want.
