Haliotis Dive Center Faial

Haliotis operates in six locations: Peniche and Sesimbra in mainland Portugal, Faial and Santa Maria in the Azores, Madeira island, and São Vicente in Cape Verde.

Haliotis offers a full range of PADI courses, from introductory programs like Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water Diver to advanced, rescue, and professional levels like Divemaster and Instructor Development Courses (IDC). They also provide specialty courses such as Nitrox and Drift Diver.

While diving is possible year-round, the high season is from June to October, with water temperatures between 16°C and 20°C. From November to May, temperatures drop to around 15°C, requiring thicker wetsuits or drysuits. Diving is less frequent between December and February due to weather conditions.

Haliotis uses high-quality equipment from brands like Aqualung, TUSA, and Apeks. They have approximately 50 sets of equipment available for client use. Their dive centers are equipped with Bauer compressors capable of filling Ar, Nitrox, and Trimix.
