El Centro de Buceo en Cabo de Gata SEA&SUN, situado en La Isleta del Moro, en pleno corazón del Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata, ofrece una experiencia de buceo excepcional con más de 30 años de experiencia. Certificado por PADI, SSI y CMAS/FFESSM, incluyendo TDI, este centro es ideal para buceadores de todos los niveles, desde principiantes hasta profesionales. Ofrecen cursos como Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water Diver e Instructor Development Course, junto con cursos de buceo adaptado y excursiones de senderismo.
Las instalaciones incluyen vestuarios, bar, alquiler de equipos y llenado de aire (nitrox). Las inmersiones se realizan en barco, abarcando tanto buceo como paseos con snorkel, con un fuerte énfasis en los mejores puntos de inmersión dentro de la Reserva Marina de Cabo de Gata-Níjar, reconocida por la UNESCO. El equipo, compuesto por profesionales apasionados con décadas de experiencia local, garantiza seguridad y atención personalizada, a menudo descrita como "buceo a la carta".
El centro también ofrece rutas de snorkel guiadas para descubrir la rica biodiversidad marina del parque, incluyendo praderas de posidonia y estrellas de mar. Las inmersiones, que pueden alcanzar profundidades de 35 metros, se realizan exclusivamente dentro del Parque Natural, aprovechando las aguas claras y la costa mejor conservada del Mediterráneo europeo. La dedicación a la formación personalizada, como las experiencias individuales de "bautismo de buceo", destaca el compromiso del centro para hacer de cada experiencia un recuerdo inolvidable para toda la familia.

12 years old, following Andalusia regulations. The session lasts 2.5 to 3 hours and includes one personal instructor exclusively for you, plus all equipment.
Yes, from 4 years old accompanied by an adult. All snorkel equipment — wetsuit, fins, booties, mask, snorkel and life jacket — is included in the price.
Cancel more than 48 hours in advance and you get a full refund. Less than 48 hours notice or no-show means no refund. Course enrolment fees are non-refundable, but practical sessions can be postponed up to two years.
Yes. After paying the 150€ enrolment fee, the centre sends you the manual as a PDF and gives you access to their online platform. You complete the theory at home at your own pace, then come to La Isleta del Moro for the practical dives in the marine reserve.
The entry-level course is available as Open Water Diver PADI (to 18 m) or Buceador 1 Estrella FEDAS-CMAS (to 25 m after 20 logged dives). The CMAS certification also permits decompression diving, which the PADI OWD does not. From there, the B2E/Advanced OWD reaches 40 m, and the B3E is the top recreational level.
A maximum of 10 people per boat, including the guide and skipper.
All practical dives take place in the sea, inside the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Marine Reserve. The centre does not use a pool; open-water conditions from the start.
The course price covers up to 6 practical sessions. If you struggle with any exercise, you get up to 2 extra sessions free of charge at the instructor's discretion. Additional extraordinary sessions beyond that cost 60€ each.
