Pico Sport, con sede en Lajes do Pico, Portugal, es un centro de buceo y deportes acuáticos con 33 años de experiencia, certificado por SSI y TDI. Ofrecen una amplia gama de actividades, desde snorkel hasta buceo técnico, incluyendo buceo de barco y buceos guiados. Las instalaciones cuentan con vestuarios, bar, alojamiento, alquiler de equipos y una tienda de buceo, además de llenado de aire con nitrox.
El centro destaca por sus excursiones de avistamiento de ballenas y delfines, con una tasa de éxito del 98% y guiadas por biólogos marinos. Las inmersiones en el monte submarino Princess Alice son una experiencia destacada, ofreciendo la oportunidad de encontrarse con grandes bancos de rayas mobula, barracudas y peces pelágicos, con acceso rápido y cómodo en un catamarán especializado.
Pico Sport también organiza expediciones especializadas como la 'Shark Week' para los amantes de los tiburones, buscando tiburones azules, mako y martillo, así como otros grandes pelágicos. La 'Season of the Giants' en primavera se centra en la migración de las ballenas más grandes, incluyendo ballenas azules, rorcuales comunes y rorcuales boreales.
