For Snorkelling and Try Scuba Diving (Baptismo), the minimum age is 8 years old. For the Basic Diver course and Freediving courses, the minimum age is 10 years old. For Open Water Diver and most specialty courses, the minimum age is 10 years old with some restrictions until 12 and 15 years old.

A medical questionnaire must be completed for all diving activities. For specific courses like Try Scuba Diving and above, a signed medical declaration is required. Divers with pre-existing conditions should consult a physician.
