What people ask before booking

For introductory dives like the 'Discover Scuba' experience, the minimum age is 8 years old. For the Basic Diver course, it's 10 years old. For PADI Seal Team and FFESSM Bronze Diver, it's also 8 years old. For Gold Diver and Scuba Diver, it's 10 years old. The Open Water Diver course is available from 10 years old (up to 18m for 10-11 year olds) and the FFESSM Level 1 is from 14 years old (up to 20m).

A medical certificate of fitness to dive, dated less than one year ago, is mandatory. Dive insurance is also required in Spain; if you don't have your own (like DAN or Laffont), the center can provide it for €20 per week. For baptism and first-level courses, insurance is included in the price.

The standard dive package prices include weights and a tank. Packages that include rental equipment will specify this. Night dives and dives at Playa Blanca (including the Museo) have additional supplements. Boat dives also incur a supplement per dive.

Yes, equipment rental is available. Daily rates are €5 for a BCD, regulator, or wetsuit. A complete set (BCD, regulator, wetsuit, fins, mask) costs €15 per day. A 15-liter tank supplement is €5 per dive.

Yes, Aquasport Diving Lanzarote offers technical diving courses through SSI's Extended Range (XR) program. This includes Extended Range Foundations (pool/shallow water), Extended Range (up to 45m with decompression), and Technical Extended Range (up to 50-60m with trimix). These courses require specific prerequisites regarding age, number of dives, and prior certifications.

The center offers introductory freediving sessions and advanced courses led by world champion freediver Christian. These can be tailored to individual needs or group programs, focusing on various aspects like wreck diving, exploring caves, and specialized training modules such as sophrology and yoga combined with freediving.
