Sobre o Centro

DiveLab, located in Singapore, is a specialized dive center offering a comprehensive range of diving courses certified by SSI and TDI. From introductory programs like Discover Scuba Diving to advanced certifications such as Advanced Open Water and technical specialties like Enriched Air Nitrox, DiveLab caters to all levels of divers. They also conduct professional programs, including the Instructor Development Course, and offer technical diving courses, including XR Extended Range and XR Extended Range Trimix, as well as Side Mount and Dry Suit.

DiveLab's facilities include showers, lockers, a bar, and accommodation for its clients. They boast a private 3.2m deep swimming pool at Raffles Marina, providing a more realistic learning experience compared to shallower pools. Additionally, they offer equipment rental, a dive shop, air fills (including nitrox and trimix), and organize boat diving, night diving, and guided dives.

DiveLab facilitates learning through e-learning platforms, allowing students to study academics at their own pace and convenience. Pool and in-water training sessions are scheduled subsequently. Proximity to dive sites like Tioman and Singapore's Southern Islands, such as Pulau Hantu, enables the organization of exciting dive trips. The center also provides airport transfer services, simplifying logistics for international visitors. DiveLab speaks multiple languages, including Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese, ensuring smooth communication with their clients.

For those interested in technical diving, DiveLab stands out with its XR (Extended Range) course offerings, including specialties like Rebreather XR Horizon SCR and XR Extended Range Trimix. This commitment to technical training, coupled with TDI certification, positions DiveLab as an ideal center for divers looking to expand their horizons. The center also offers Dive Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) diving and other SSI specialties to enhance the underwater experience.

Open Water Diver

This is the Singapore-based track, with open water dives at Pulau Hantu in the Southern Islands rather than an overseas trip. You start with SSI e-learning at home, then come in for a theory revision and test at the DiveLab centre at 1093 Lower Delta Road. Pool training follows at Raffles Marina — the private pool there runs to 3.2m, which gives enough depth to practise mask clearing, regulator retrieval, and buoyancy in conditions closer to open water than the shallow pools most Singapore centres use. The four open water dives are done over the weekend at Pulau Hantu. DiveLab runs this on a weekly schedule, so you're not waiting for a course to fill before you can start. During the dives, students use Shearwater Peregrine dive computers on loan — proper colour-display units that most divers only graduate to after certification. Completion certifies you as an SSI Open Water Diver to 18m with a certified buddy. The price at SGD 689 covers e-learning, the confined pool session, all equipment rental, the four open water dives, and the SSI certification e-card.

Advanced Open Water

The Advanced Adventurer runs as a weekend trip to Tioman Island — same logistics as the Open Water Tioman package, 2 days and 2 nights. The programme is structured as a sampler: five specialty adventure dives that let you experience advanced training before committing to any full specialty programme. The five modules covered are Deep Diving, Night and Limited Visibility, Navigation, Perfect Buoyancy, and Boat Diving. Each is a standalone dive with a specific focus, so by Sunday afternoon you have a grounded sense of which direction suits your diving — whether that's tech, photography, or just cleaner recreational diving. Pricing is SGD 799 per person when booking with a buddy, same bracket as the Open Water Tioman course. DiveLab runs this weekly alongside the Open Water trips, so the groups often overlap at the same departure point.

Enriched Air Nitrox

A single-evening classroom course run on Mondays from 7–10pm at the DiveLab centre on Lower Delta Road. The course covers oxygen management, decompression risk reduction through nitrox planning, and how to analyse your own nitrox mix before a dive — skills that matter if you're doing multi-dive days where bottom times start stacking up. The programme follows the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox syllabus: introduction to nitrox, how it interacts with your body underwater, integrating it into your total diving system, and practical dive planning with mixed gases. No open water dives are required — this is a theory and planning certification. Prerequisite is an Open Water Diver certificate. Price is SGD 180 per person (standard rate SGD 220), inclusive of in-person theory class, SSI digital materials, instructor fees, and certification e-card.
