Zanzibar Underwater Explorers

Zanzibar Underwater Explorers is a professional PADI Dive Center located in the northern part of Zanzibar, Nungwi village. With an experienced team holding extensive knowledge of all dive sites in northern Zanzibar, they offer high-quality professional diving with an emphasis on safety, all within a fun, relaxed, and friendly atmosphere. They believe in small groups to ensure personal service and more attention to their clients.

Dive sites in the Nungwi area provide access to incredible underwater experiences. Just 1 hour away, Mnemba Island offers amazing views and an interesting underwater world. Tumbatu Island, a 25-minute journey, is known for encounters with seahorses and beautiful coral reefs. Closer to home, the local Nungwi reefs, only 20 minutes away, teem with turtles, stingrays, various scorpionfish, unique frogfish, and other fascinating marine life.

The center provides a range of facilities to enhance the guest experience, including lockers, a bar, accommodation, and a swimming pool. They also feature a dive shop, offer nitrox fills, and facilitate shore diving. For convenience, airport transfers are available.

Zanzibar Underwater Explorers offers courses from PADI and SSI, including the Instructor Development Course and snorkeling. Their dive site offerings include renowned locations such as Mnemba Island, Tumbatu Island, and various local sites near Nungwi, like Shane's Reef, Kichafi, Hunga, Haji, Nankivell, and Mbwangawa, each presenting unique features and marine life to explore.
