The N1 at Andrésy Plongée qualifies divers to dive in supervised conditions to 20 metres (PE20 — Plongeur Encadré 20m). It is the first full FFESSM/CMAS certification on the French scale and the standard entry point for club diving in France. Training combines pool sessions in the club's fosse with open-water dives.
At N1, divers always dive within a supervised group led by a qualified instructor or a higher-level diver. The certification does not grant autonomous diving rights — that comes at N2 — but it opens up access to organised club outings, including the sea trips the club runs. Theory is covered as part of the curriculum, listed separately as a training service on the site.
For anyone starting from scratch in the Andrésy area, this is the natural first step through the French certification system, with pool access included in club membership.

Requirements
- Edad mínima: 10 años (Open Water Junior) o 15 años (Open Water completo)
- Saber nadar 200 m sin parar (estilo libre, espalda o braza)
- Mantenerse a flote 10 minutos sin apoyo
- No padecer claustrofobia ni asma severa
- Cuestionario médico firmado (PADI) — si hay duda, certificado médico
- Si tienes lentillas o gafas, comunicarlo al inscribirte
