The SSI React Right course at Scubazores covers first aid, CPR, defibrillator use and oxygen administration in a combined package that runs between 4 and 16 hours depending on the modules selected. It is listed under the Socorrismo (rescue/first aid) category on the centre's course menu.
For divers planning to spend several days working through the deeper sites on the Scubazores roster — offshore reefs with current, 35 m cavern dives — having an up-to-date emergency response qualification is practical rather than optional. The centre's SSI affiliation means the React Right certification fits directly into the wider training pathway.
The course is delivered in Portuguese and English.

Requirements
- Edad mínima: 10 años (Open Water Junior) o 15 años (Open Water completo)
- Saber nadar 200 m sin parar (estilo libre, espalda o braza)
- Mantenerse a flote 10 minutos sin apoyo
- No padecer claustrofobia ni asma severa
- Cuestionario médico firmado (PADI) — si hay duda, certificado médico
- Si tienes lentillas o gafas, comunicarlo al inscribirte
