Elevate your scuba diving to a professional level with the PADI Divemaster program at Into The Blue. This intensive internship offers hands-on experience across all aspects of the diving industry, from managing dive center operations to leading dives and assisting with scuba courses. The Divemaster internship includes advanced training in dive theory, equipment, and leadership. You'll develop practical skills in guiding certified divers, supporting instructors during PADI courses, and managing daily dive operations. The program incorporates opportunities to participate in diverse diving activities, such as wreck, night, and deep dives, to further hone your expertise and knowledge base.

To achieve PADI Divemaster certification, candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold a PADI Rescue Diver certification or equivalent. A minimum of 40 logged dives is required before starting the course, with 60 dives needed for certification. Additionally, EFR Primary and Secondary Care training must be current within the past 24 months, and a medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months is mandatory.

This comprehensive program involves completing knowledge development sections, waterskills exercises, practical workshops, and various assessments, culminating in a final exam. Practical application is key, including assisting with PADI courses, conducting scuba reviews for certified divers, and leading dives. Candidates must have been active certified divers for at least six months and demonstrate strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
