Scuba Diver SSI

The SSI Scuba Diver certification at Divergente Buceo offers a focused introduction to the underwater world, ideal for those with limited time. This program is designed to equip you with fundamental diving principles, environmental awareness, and essential equipment handling skills. As a Scuba Diver, you will be certified to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters and will always conduct dives under the direct supervision of an SSI instructor. The course structure is efficient, typically completed within two days, and includes online and in-person theory sessions, practical skill development in confined water, and two supervised open water dives.

The waters around the center offer a pleasant diving environment, with sea temperatures averaging 20.6°C. While specific monthly temperatures vary, the data shows a range from 11.7°C in December to 27.5°C in August, suggesting that warmer months provide a more comfortable experience for training. The course emphasizes building confidence and ensuring a safe introduction to diving, preparing students for future underwater adventures.

To participate in the SSI Scuba Diver course, you must be at least 14 years old, with parental consent required for minors. A medical certificate signed by a hyperbaric specialist is also a mandatory requirement to ensure you are fit for diving.
