Descrição do Curso
The Nitrox Simple specialty course at Éperlan Plongée is designed to introduce certified divers to the benefits and safe usage of enriched air nitrox. This specialty is ideal for those looking to extend their bottom times and reduce decompression obligations on repetitive dives. Participants will gain a solid understanding of nitrox composition, its advantages, and the specific procedures required when diving with higher oxygen concentrations. The curriculum covers essential theoretical instruction on gas laws, oxygen toxicity risks, and how to accurately determine the maximum operating depth (MOD) for various nitrox mixes. You will also learn the critical skill of analyzing the oxygen content of your tank to ensure it meets the specifications for your planned dive.
Éperlan Plongée, a center certified by CMAS and FFESSM, provides all necessary training materials and expert guidance from certified instructors. The course aims to equip divers with the knowledge to plan and execute nitrox dives safely, thereby enhancing their overall diving experience. While this course focuses on theory and planning, it is a valuable addition for any recreational diver seeking to optimize their dives and gain more bottom time. Upon successful completion, divers will be certified to use nitrox for recreational purposes, allowing for longer bottom times and potentially shorter surface intervals.
This specialty is particularly beneficial for divers who frequently perform multiple dives in a day or plan deep dives. By understanding and utilizing nitrox, you can significantly increase your no-decompression limits, making your dives more relaxed and enjoyable. The knowledge gained here directly translates to more efficient dive planning and execution, allowing you to spend more time exploring underwater. It’s a practical step towards maximizing your time and safety underwater.
Éperlan Plongée offers this course in multiple languages, including German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, and Russian, ensuring accessibility for a diverse range of divers. The center's commitment to diver education is reflected in its high Google rating of 4.7, indicating a strong track record of satisfaction among its students. This specialty builds upon your existing certification, providing you with new tools for dive planning and gas management.
