Advanced Open Water

The SSI Advanced Adventurer course, also recognized as Advanced Open Water, is designed to build upon your existing Open Water certification and introduce you to a wider range of diving experiences. This program at Extra Divers Australia includes SSI Advanced Adventurer online rental materials and certification, alongside theory sessions and five specialized dives. The primary objective is to enhance your diving skills and confidence across various underwater conditions and environments, preparing you for deeper and more complex dives.

This course offers the flexibility to choose from a variety of specialities, allowing you to tailor the program to your specific interests. Typical options include Deep Diving, Navigation, Drift Diving, Night Diving, Photo/Video, Search and Recovery, Fish Identification, Buoyancy Control, and Scooter Diving. Each speciality dive focuses on particular skills and knowledge, providing practical, hands-on experience under the direct supervision of your instructor. The SSI certification allows for dives up to 30 meters, expanding your exploration capabilities.

While the course includes standard dive equipment, the rental of specialized gear such as cameras, torches, and scooters is not included and will incur an additional charge.
