Discover Scuba Diving

Oyster Diving offers the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, an ideal entry point for those curious about the underwater world but not yet ready for full certification. This pool-based session, lasting approximately 90 minutes, provides a safe and controlled environment to experience scuba diving for the first time. You will receive a thorough safety briefing, learn to use essential scuba equipment, and take your initial breaths underwater. This introductory experience is conveniently available at several heated pool locations across London and the South East, ensuring accessibility for many. Oyster Diving provides a unique incentive: 50% of the Discover Scuba experience fee can be credited towards your Open Water course if you choose to continue your diving education with them. The minimum age requirement is 10 years old, and while no prior experience is necessary, a basic comfort in the water is beneficial for the best experience.

All necessary scuba gear, including mask, fins, regulator, BCD, and tank, is provided for the session, meaning you don't need to purchase anything to try diving.
