Open Water Diver

Designed for absolute beginners aged 10 and up, it requires participants to demonstrate basic swimming ability by completing a 200-meter swim and a 10-minute float. Aquanaut Dive Center ensures a thorough learning experience, integrating PADI eLearning for flexible home study with hands-on instruction.

Your theoretical knowledge development is handled through PADI eLearning, allowing you to master essential concepts like scuba equipment function and underwater physiology at your own pace before arriving in El Nido. This significantly maximizes your time for enjoying the tropical surroundings. Upon arrival, your PADI Instructor will conduct an evening orientation to review your online learning and practice fundamental surface skills, including familiarizing yourself with and assembling scuba gear. The subsequent two days are dedicated to practical application, featuring five confined water sessions and four open water dives.

During these in-water sessions, you will learn and refine crucial dive skills under the direct supervision of your PADI Instructor. This progressive approach builds confidence and competence, preparing you for independent diving.
